Medway Community Farm started with a vision to preserve open space in our community. For the past ten years, we’ve been pursuing just that. We believe that the open space the farm provides is essential to human health, both mentally and physically. Connecting children to the outdoors reaps valuable skills not addressed in the formal classroom setting. We believe food grown using organic practices provides the basis for healthy eating and should be available to everyone and that locally grown food is fresher, provides more nutrients, supports the local economy, and benefits the environment. Medway Community Farm provides this through Farm CSA shares, farm stand offerings, farmers markets, Fitness and Workplace Farm Share programs, pick your own offerings, community garden plots, and participation in the SNAP and HIP programs providing healthy food to those who need it most.
