  • Mission

A League of their own baseball league has the mission to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals with disabilities can experience the joy of baseball, foster personal growth, and forge lasting friendships. We are dedicated to breaking barriers and challenging misconceptions about disabilities through the power of sports. Our League creates opportunities for disabled adults to participate in the beloved game of baseball, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and skill development. We place a strong emphasis on accessibility, we ensure that every participant can fully engage in the game, regardless of their abilities. We will coach, nurture community, and empower our players to showcase their talents and celebrate their unique strengths. Join us in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie as we inspire and uplift the lives of disabled adults, fostering a sense of belonging and instilling a love for baseball that lasts a lifetime.

    About Us

We are always in need of individuals with a love for being buddies for individuals with disabilities. It is our goal to have every individual assigned to a buddy that will be there for every game if possible, become their friend, and create a bond they can enjoy while playing. We look to assist players from the dug out to the "on deck" location then to bat, run the bases, and run home to celebrate their play. We create a non-competitive environment with cheers for all players. The MC/DJ will call out interesting facts about the players while they are up to bat. We will yell and encourage the players while they play and also look out for their physical safety during every step. Balls fly out to the field and can hit or hurt anyone during game play. We provide encouragement, maintain the safety during game play, and a buddy that helps the player do their very best while participating. We are sponsor and community funded so we do everything for our players with the public/community assistance. Volunteers can be involved all or as many games as they can as buddies. Please call with any questions and our Volunteer coordinator can get them for you. We look forward to growing our new League to include the surrounding areas. We want to be the adult league when the young players in Buddy baseball age out and need to keep active with the game they love.
