Our mission is to create sustainable solutions to poverty by partnering with artisan women in Kenya to harness ancient craftsmanship in weaving, beading, basketry, art and more as a tool for economic development and wildlife conservation.

Sawa Sawa means it will be okay in Swahili. We are a sustainable, ethically made, handcrafted, nonprofit fashion brand and social enterprise in Austin, Texas.

Our mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya harness skills passed down through generations in weaving, beading, basketry, art etc.

We provide the women with the tools to create. We buy the products at a fair market price to give them a sustainable income. We use the profits to fund projects that improve their quality of life, keep girls in school and preserve the environment and wildlife around them.
