International Food Security Treaty Association
Mission
To promote advocacy for the International Food Security Treaty, which aims to eradicate world hunger by strengthening critical structural systems protected by enforceable international human rights law.
About Us
The IFSTA coordinates activities promoting the worldwide adoption and implementation of the International Food Security Treaty, which aims to place the human right of freedom from hunger under the protection of enforceable international law. Originally founded in 1993 by American producer and writer, John Teton, the IFSTA has worked to develop a statement of principles for the International Food Security Treaty. We continue this work today, gathering support for the Treaty and providing education about extreme malnutrition, starvation, and the use of famine as a weapon of war.
