Students Excel and Serve empowers special education students and supports their teachers by providing resources, programs, and opportunities that enhance learning, creativity, and inclusion.

Students Excel and Serve is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting special education students and teachers. Our mission is to empower students with learning disabilities, provide resources for teachers, and create inclusive opportunities for growth and creativity.

What We Do:

1. Student-Led School Clubs – We support students in creating clubs at their schools focused on special education awareness, peer support, and inclusive activities.
2. Teacher Stipend Program – We provide financial support for special education teachers to help fund classroom supplies, lesson materials, and resources that enhance learning.
3. Assistive Technology Program – We help classrooms access assistive technology and tools that improve learning experiences for students with disabilities.
4. Art & Creativity Program – Students with learning disabilities can share their artwork, explore their creative potential, and express themselves in a supportive environment.
5. Volunteer & Leadership Opportunities – We offer students and community members the chance to take on meaningful roles, such as program collaboration, marketing/outreach, and operations support, helping expand our mission and impact.

Why We Exist:

Special education students and teachers often face challenges in resources, accessibility, and inclusion. Our programs aim to reduce these barriers, build skills, and create opportunities for students to thrive academically, creatively, and socially.
