  • Mission

Our mission is to increase awareness and develop a network of services and circles of individualized support for Black/African American women affected by trauma in Milwaukee County.

    About Us

We are a healing circle supporting Black women who have experienced trauma. Use this when we talk about CLAWW. We organized CLAWW in August of 2018. Six women were concerned about the trauma in our community. We wanted to help our community heal. Our programs and services address healing. Our Programs include Sisters Talk, where Black women can discuss their concerns with their peers. Sankofa Drum circle, we use drumming to release stress and heal physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Health Equity for Aging Black Women, we provide Lunch and Learn workshops for seniors, teaching them how to eat healthy foods to manage their chronic health conditions and improve their health.
