Learning Heroes

Learning Heroes is a national non-profit whose mission is to inspire and equip parents to be learning heroes, so that every child can succeed. Our research tells us that 90% of parents believe their child is at or above grade level, yet national data tells us closer to 30% are on track. We work to ensure that parents have an accurate picture of how their child is doing, understand what it means for their child to be prepared for success after high school, and have actions they can take to support their child. To effectively engage and equip parents, Learning Heroes starts by understanding their mindsets, beliefs, priorities, and concerns as they work to raise their children. This means rooting our work in listening and communicating to parents in emotional terms that meet them where they are. Our partners include the National PTA, Scholastic, Univision, NCLR, and UNCF.
