About Us
Magnificat Cat Rescue and Rehoming is a rescue group dedicated to finding foster care and permanent homes for abandoned, displaced, and shelter-surrendered cats in the New York City area. Certified by the Mayor's Alliance for NYC Cats in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) techniques, our members assist local TNR groups in helping control the feral/stray cat population in the five boroughs, as well as solicit in-kind donations of food and veterinary care to aid those at risk of losing their animals due to financial hardship. Magnificat also maintains a network of foster care-givers to provide homes for cats in need, on both a short and long-term basis.
