Mbale Care & Support Trust

Mbale Care & Support Trust (MCST) was established in 2004 as non-governmental organization with a mission to work for the improved quality of life and dignity of older women affected by HIV in Mbale district. MCST is governed by a Board of Directors comprising six prominent individuals and currently has a staff of three and two volunteers. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of the organisation and is supported by a Projects Officer who is in charge of the planning and implementation of project activities at community level. A book keeper is responsible for managing books of accounts and funds. At community level two volunteers work hand in hand with the project officer to implement project activities.
