The Indiana 4-H Youth Development mission is to provide real-life educational opportunities that develop young people who will have a positive impact in their communities and the world.
About Us
Purdue Extension helps Indiana build vibrant communities, strong families, and profitable businesses on its Main Streets and at its farm gates - reaching more than 620,000 people in 2015. Our team - including campus specialists and Extension Educators in all 92 counties - connects Indiana communities to world-class Purdue University research and a nationwide network of experts on agriculture, community, environment, family, food, and youth..4-H began over 100 years ago, and has since grown into the largest youth development program in the nation. 4-H prepares young people to be leaders in their community and around the world through hands-on experiences alongside their peers and caring adults.
