    About Us

Clothes That Work provides services to job seekers through one of two methods. Clients may pay a $40 fee to receive our in-house clothing and coaching service or be referred to Clothes That Work through one of our referral partners for free services (see a list of 2025 referral partners here).

Clothes That Work operates with 3 client-facing services: Clothing and Coaching program, the Mobile Outreach Initiative, and the Workforce Education Initiative.

    • Clothing and Coaching Program - Pairs job seekers with a trained client coach who will fit them for an interview appropriate outfit. Referred clients are encouraged to come back after they receive a job offer to obtain a week's worth of free clothing for their first week on the job.
    • Mobile Outreach Initiative - Takes our clothing and coaching program on the road and directly to communities that need it most. Our MOI reduces transportation barriers often faced by job seekers when accessing resources.
    • Workforce Education Initiative - Offers workshops on a variety of professional development topics such as resume building, interview skills, professionalism in the workplace, and communication. The WEI hosts free workshops at many local libraries as well as partnering with organizations to provide company or team-wide workshops and series.
