  • Mission

The mission of SIRE, Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Center is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through horseback riding and related therapeutic activities.

    About Us

SIRE provides therapeutic horsemanship classes to people with disabilities ranging in age from 3-adult. Our therapeutic horseback riding programs can improve client strength, tone, and self-esteem. SIRE has 2 locations that provide services to clients: , Spring and Fulshear, TX. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the program. Some clients need the help of 3 volunteers, a horse leader and 2 sidewalkers. This is a very upbeat volunteer opportunity whether you work in the arena with the clients or help in other areas, such as fundraising or in the barn.
