    The Volunteer Services Department of UNC's mission is to assist the hospital in its endeavors to provide comprehensive health care to the communities it serves, and to provide a meaningful outlet for the human need to be of service to others.

    If you desire to make a difference, to touch a life, to learn while helping others, or just to have fun, UNC Health Care's Volunteer Services can find the right place for you! UNC Hospitals has three categories of volunteers: Community, Undergraduate, and High School (age 14-18). We offer a wide variety of unique volunteer opportunities throughout the entire UNC hospital system. Our many volunteers play an integral role in delivering first-class health care to you, your family, and the entire state of North Carolina.
