About Us

The Telluride Film Festival ranks among the world's best film festivals. The festival is an annual gathering for the who's who of the film industry (including celebrities, filmmakers, film lovers, journalists, industry executives and sophisticated guests) and a major launching ground for the season's most talked-about films. Most importantly, Telluride fosters a uniquely intimate environment where festival participants still enjoy the rare privilege of meeting the filmmakers who accompany their cinematic works, and attend parties and events celebrating the art of film. While the festival is located in the spectacular Rocky Mountains and is inclusive of the local community, we primarily draw our festival audiences from the cultural and entertainment hubs of LA and NY, and it's what happens at Telluride that radiates out at the national level. Telluride Film Festival is a 501c3 arts non-profit that organizes an international educational event where lovers and creators of cinema come together in four days of cinematic immersion and celebration.
