    Appropriate Rural Development Agriculture Programme (ARDAP) is a locally-based Kenyan NGO, close to the border of Uganda. It works to empower local communities in the key issues of food security and environmental conservation. ARDAP provides women's, youth and community self-help groups with training necessary to further the living standards (ie sustainable agriculture, small business skills, communication and leadership). Furthermore, it networks with government agencies, local and international NGOs, churches, etc to provide a more holistic development to the serviced communities.
