Phil Ting is a candidate for Assembly to make sure our district (Assembly District 19) is heard in Sacramento.

We need excellent schools for all of our children. A parent and leader in the statewide movement to support our schools, Phil Ting will make quality education his highest priority.

Sending more Californians to affordable colleges and universities is the single most powerful investment we can make in economic prosperity. With his background in higher education and his own experience as the child of immigrants who helped send him to UC Berkeley and then to Harvard, Phil Ting will work every day in Sacramento to fund higher education for Californians.

The answer to our state’s budget woes is to grow our economy. Phil Ting is co-founder of ChinaSF, an innovative partnership that is creating jobs by increasing trade and attracting new business. Phil also helped launch GoSolarSF, the program that is creating jobs and attracting new green energy companies to our community. As Assessor-Recorder in San Francisco, he helped generate hundred of millions in new revenues by reforming a once-troubled agency.
