CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County

  • Mission

CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County is a nonprofit that was founded in response to the rising cost of essential hygiene products and the growing need among local families. The pantry provides free access to items that support health, dignity, and daily living.

We gladly accept donations of period products, incontinence supplies, body care, haircare products, household supplies, and other hygiene essentials.

By working together, we can help ensure no one in Champaign County has to go without the basic products so many of us rely on every day.

    About Us

We are three friends and former colleagues who share a passion for supporting individuals and families in our community. Through our professional work, we have spent years working with low-resource individuals and families and have seen firsthand the challenges many face when it comes to accessing basic hygiene products.

Recognizing this need in Champaign County, we partnered with the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLU-W) and East Central Illinois AFL-CIO to start the CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County. Our goal is to help ensure that everyone in our community has access to essential hygiene items that support health, dignity, and well-being.

This pantry exists because of the support of our community, and we are grateful for everyone who helps make this work possible.
