    The Fleet Science Center connects people of all ages to the possibilities and power of science to create a better future.

    About Us

    The Fleet Science Center located in beautiful Balboa Park has the world's first IMAX dome theatre. It hosts many popular permanent gallery exhibitions in addition to exciting traveling exhibits from all over the nation.

    As a hands-on science center, the Fleet encourages visitors to "Touch!" the exhibits, which teach a variety of scientific principles in an interactive manner to provide a unique learning experience for all ages.

    The Fleet Science Center boasts an excellent education department that presents a series of workshops, lectures and classes for children and adults of all ages.
