As a medical and social day care program, Easter Seals Adult Day Services offers a community-based alternative to institutional care for adults with disabilities and seniors who are at-risk of losing their independence due to increasing physical frailty, memory impairments, or a disabling condition, such as Alzheimer’s disease or stroke. Our goal is to promote the health and well-being of disabled seniors and adults, while reducing the stress of caregiving for family members.
The Adult Day Services program is licensed to serve 60 adults and seniors with disabilities per day. Participants attend the program between two to five days per week which translates to 80-87 different participants and their caregivers served each week.
