    About Us

USGBC-LA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, incorporated in the State of California in 2002. An eleven-member board of directors oversees chapter operations.

USGBC-LA, the local chapter of the US Green Building Council, was incorporated in 2002 by a motivated group of individuals representing various market sectors within the local design and construction-related building industries. Our common purpose is the promotion and development of sustainable green building in greater Los Angeles.

Our goal is to become the point of contact for agencies, municipalities, professionals and companies interested in sustainable, green buildings, and to foster cooperation and collaboration among individuals and organizations dedicated to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
