Hospice Highland Rim Foundation

The vision of Hospice of the Highland Rim Foundation, Inc., is to provide assistance to patients who are suffering end of life hardships due to their illness.

Hospice Highland Rim Foundation has been the "go-to resource" for many hospice patients. Families in hospice services have needs that often go beyond the scope of services covered by Medicare hospice benefits, TN-Care, VA Benefits, and private insurance providers.

Hospice Highland Rim Foundation opened in 2009 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization... to assist hospice patients who have no other resources available while on hospice services. The foundation helps with utility bills, food, medications and other request based on the patient’s needs. The foundation also provides scholarships for individuals interested in a career with hospice services.

Board members for the foundation evaluates each request individually in order to use donated funds in the most effective way possible to help alleviate suffering and to promote the quality of life for these special patients.
