AnimalKind, Inc.

AnimalKind is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Raleigh, North Carolina, dedicated to helping families access affordable veterinary care. Since 1997, we’ve helped more than 25,000 families access affordable spay and neuter services.

Now, we’re taking an exciting next step: in early 2027, AnimalKind will open a permanent spay/neuter and wellness veterinary clinic serving families throughout the Raleigh community.

The AnimalKind Community Veterinary Clinic will provide affordable, high-volume spay and neuter services, along with low-cost preventive and basic veterinary care, including vaccinations, wellness exams, parasite prevention and treatment for common health conditions.

Our goal is simple: help make essential veterinary care more accessible and keep pets healthy, happy, and with the families who love them.

The clinic will be located at 3520 Spring Forest Road in Raleigh, alongside the Retails Thrift Store, which AnimalKind owns and operates. Every purchase, donation, and volunteer shift at Retails directly supports AnimalKind’s mission and helps make affordable veterinary care possible for our community.
