The New Tenth Foundation, Inc.

  • Mission

The New Tenth Foundation's mission is to educate and enlighten the heart and mind of young boys and girls ages 9 to 17, building the skill of hand and quickness of brain without fear unless the adult and child mistake the means of living for the object of life.

    About Us

The New Tenth Foundation’s vision is to develop the leadership capacity among the ablest 10 percent of black youth and empower them to own their economic success, and then the masses. Who will not depend on handouts from others but will earn their special privileges by dedicating themselves to "leavening the lump" and "inspiring the masses." It is shifting paradigms, changing lives, and altering the world for the better, ultimately making a mark that cannot be erased. The Project Limitless 15 Curriculum provides programs, materials, and volunteers at each session and is intended for young boys and girls ages 9 to 17 with the goal that, because of the program's impact, students will choose STEAM-related courses throughout their successive school years. Our workshops and trainings are held at One Buckhead Plaza free-of-charge to 80% (low-income communities) of our members. Our programs are fast-paced, hands-on, interactive, engaging, and fun with activities that include career panels, experiments, and competitions. Through participation in TNTF programs, students see the relevance of applying practical application with theory and recognize the value in becoming the change they want to see by solving real problems in their community. We address critical community needs through experiential, hands-on programs.
