About Us

The Thomas Dunn Learning Center is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. We have been providing quality, life-long learning opportunities in the St. Louis Region since 1930. Our free or low cost programs center around education, enrichment, and culture. This creates a vibrant range of opportunities; recent courses include our popular canning class, “Yes, You Can Can,” Altered Artists workshops, and  Zumba. Our mission is to enrich lives through engaging learning experiences, and to create partnerships which promote individual growth and enhance the community’s quality of life.

Our partnerships with other organizations allow us to be a hub of community activity and an incubator of positive change in the St. Louis Region, in particular the Dutchtown area. We provide event space for nonprofits whose missions align with ours for both public and private events. Our partnerships not only propel our mission forward and deepen our impact; they also aid in creating a flourishing community, and many of our best classes involve collaborations between different organizations.
