Lifeline Foundation Nigeria

The lifeline foundation is a not-for-profit making organization. Established, in June 2nd 2005. Formed to promote and support actions on the need for a healthy living for every child. Members take actions against child abuse and others factors threatening childhood. With the view that our collective interest is jeopardized, as children charged with the responsibility of protecting the future are rather forced into street prostitution, coerced into handling sophisticated weapons in the jungles. Poverty denies them of their dignity, endangers their lives and limits their potentials. Conflicts and wars rob them of a secure family life; betray their trust and their hope. HIV/AIDS Kills their parents, their teachers, their Doctors and Nurses, it also kills them. The lifeline foundation is formed to address the importance of childhood in line with the eight (8) Millennium Development Goals mapped out to be achieved by the year 2015. The core focus of the organization is to advocate for childhood protection with retrospect to the Millennium Development Goals. Because childhood is the foundation for a better future. Childhood is more than just the time before any person is considered an adult. Basically, the lifeline foundation is essentially inspired with an efficient, constructive and sustainable vision articulately focused on the unconceivable situation of children less privileged to information and other basic amenities (children especially in developing countries).
