About Us
New America Media is a non-profit media company that aims to raise the visibility of ethnic and youth media. We are comprised of a trade association for ethnic media and a news service which produces original stories and aggregated content from ethnic media. Under our umbrella are a number of youth publications that feed into the news service.
In accordance with our mission to support ethnic media, we host an annual National Ethnic Media Awards and other events that give recognition to the ethnic press as well as press briefings which give them access to newsmakers they would otherwise not be able to reach. New America Media has also been a pioneer in multilingual polling.
