    Ape Action Africa is a conservation sanctuary in Cameroon, in western central Africa, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and conservation of endangered primates in their native rainforest.

    About Us

    The largest gorilla sanctuary on the continent, we rescue endangered primates - gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys - give them physical and psychological rehabilitation, and restore family life in protected tropical rainforest. We also work with the people: from local families to the national government; to promote the protections and practices that will allow their kind to again thrive in the wild.
