Virginia Tech's Northern Virginia Center (NVC) is the university's primary teaching location for graduate programs in the National Capital Region. We offer full-time and part-time degrees in a wide range of disciplines, leveraging the immense expertise of Virginia Tech and the strategic opportunities of our location near Washington DC. Our student population is diverse and drawn from many nearby industries, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. We take pride in offering graduate education that is innovative and timely, yet also offers enduring value. We are conveniently located adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro station.
Virginia Tech in the National Capital Region (NCR) is dedicated to furthering the university's three missions - education, research, and outreach. With facilities, faculty, graduate degrees, and research in the region since 1969, Virginia Tech has a long tradition of creating new knowledge and applying it to critical problems facing the Washington DC area, the Commonweath of Virginia, the nation, and the world.
