At Trinity, love is at the very core of our faith and ministry. Our mission then is simple: to love God and to love our neighbor. This conviction leads us to respect the dignity of all people, welcome the stranger, embrace our enemy, demonstrate radical hospitality, reach out to help those who are marginalized and in need, be advocates for justice and peace, and maintain a genuine commitment to inclusivity and diversity in our church family. Trinity Church is a parish with strong roots in the community of Asbury Park, NJ and the surrounding areas. Our robust Social Justice program includes our Saturday Soup community kitchen that serves 12k meals a year; Food Pantry that distributes 284k pounds of food a year; Food Justice Worker program that pays guests and community members fair wages to assist with the program; professional social worker support to connect guests with housing and resources; the Racial Justice Project to raise awareness and fight systemic racism in our community and world; emergency winter shelter; and collaborations with other faith communities and not-for-profits.
