DANCE MATRIX AND COMPANY INC

Mission, Background and Correlation to the Community Our goal for Dance Matrix and Company (DMC) is to have a creative place for artists to work together to educate, collaborate, rehearse and perform. We are a newly formed non profit organization, dedicated to the art of dance and the performing arts. Dance Matrix was formed in 1993 and has been performing and participating in community events since then. We received our 501(c)3 status last year. We have had annual performances in the Fredericksburg Library Theater and also have performed at many at local elementary schools, Germanna Community College, Dorothy Hart Community Center, and area Nursing Homes.DMC continues all these traditions, and moves forward in out new non profit persona to give opportunities to emerging artists to create and present performance pieces and to stimulate community involvement in the arts.
