Protect the Granite State

  • About Us

Protect the Granite State is a non-profit, non-partisan organization established to provide New Hampshire residents with information about the Northern Pass Project, the 192-mile long transmission line that is slated to be built from Canada through New England. This huge construction project proposed by Canada’s Hydro-Québec and Eversource Energy will disrupt communities and forever change our landscape to build electricity transmission lines carrying energy that New Hampshire does not need, to deliver it to consumers in other states.

The Northern Pass Project will benefit big corporations – not New Hampshire consumers.
