Senior Gleaners of San Diego County

  • About Us

Our mission is to provide quality food otherwise wasted to those needing it the most. Small crews composed of volunteers at least 55 years of age meet weekly to harvest surplus fruit and vegetables in backyards, small orchards and commercial fields. Other crews gather unsold grocery items four days weekly. The food is donated to the San Diego Food Bank and similar organizations at no charge.
