Heart to Heart Summer Camps

One of the largest concerns in the Chinese educational system is equality of access. Impoverished students struggle with school attendance due to need to work: as a result, many rural students are stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty.

At Heart to Heart Summer Camps, we address the issue in three ways. First, Heart to Heart Summer Camps holds fundraisers and donations, raising thousands in financial support for some of the schools we help. This money is spent on things like improving roads to the school, air conditioning, and learning materials.

Secondly, Heart to Heart Summer Camps has started work on a free online English-learning curriculum called Heart to Heart Academies. Once complete, we hope to fund access to the curriculum for impoverished schools across China.

Finally, our signature teenage-led summer camps are what allow us to make our impact special and personal. Our camps, while English-themed, ultimately serve the purpose of offering friendship and role models to our students to encourage them to study hard and stay in school.
