Dignity Health Connected Living

Dignity Health Connected Living aims to serve the NorCal community through our senior services programs. Through programs such as the Meals on Wheels program and our Food Bank, we help residents of Shasta County get the proper care that they need. Meals on Wheels provides members of the community with nutritious meals served Monday through Friday to seniors aged 60 or older who are homebound due to an illness or physical disability and have no one to prepare a meal for them. We provide personal daily contact to the frail and elderly and helps prevent premature institutionalization. Many seniors who are homebound and alone much of the time rely on their daily driver contact for a sense of security knowing that someone will come, that someone cares. We share the mission of CommonSpirit Health to make the health presence of God known in our world by improving the health of people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all.
