United Choir School

United Choir School is a private, non-sectarian educational organization that offers musical training and performance opportunities to over 500 talented young musicians throughout Connecticut. UCS provides instruction in music theory, sight singing, and ear training within the context of 25 auditioned choral ensembles, which together comprise the various divisions of the United Girls’ Choir and Elm City Girls’ Choir. The School's mission is to foster a deep commitment to the realization of personal and artistic potential and to cultivate an environment that engenders cooperation, creativity, self-discipline, and, above all, an earnest respect for all people.
