About Us
The
Southwest Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (Southwest PA AHEC) is a
non-profit regional organization and part of seven regions within the state of
Pennsylvania. The AHEC mission is to recruit and retain primary care providers
into both urban and rural medically underserved areas. The organization works
with healthcare profession trainees as well as professionals in the field.
