Mission
At Beacon Housing, we believe we are called to assist, with compassion and care, those who are vulnerable to homelessness to rebuild their lives in peace and stability. We do this by providing safe and low-cost accommodation options and education-centered supportive services, and by advancing innovative and collaborative affordable housing solutions.
About Us
In 1996, Beacon Housing was established as a faith-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to offer transitional and affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. At present, Beacon Housing operates three affordable housing facilities in Los Angeles County to address the needs of families and individuals at risk of homelessness, including severely rent-burdened low-income households as well as women and children fleeing domestic violence.
In 2019, Beacon Housing’s programs and services impacted the lives of 172 low-income individuals and families.
