    Community Helpline is a Not-for-Profit organization of trained adult and teenage volunteers providing a confidential listening and referral telephone service for callers in crisis or need.

    About Us

    Community Helpline is a confidential listening, referral and crisis hotline serving California with a toll free phone number. People of all ages call about concerns related to stress, losses, loneliness, divorce, relationships, drug and alcohol use, family violence, depression, crisis and suicide. Callers are offered appropriate referrals from over 10,000 low-cost, no-fee agencies throughout the state of California. Community Helpline's "HEAR PROGRAM" offers two, three and four hour seminars on basic listening skills to educators, law enforcement, businesses, and any interested group.
