Global Village School for Peace and Diversity Studies

Global Village School for Peace and Diversity Studies is a private independent-study school based in Southern California. Our mission is to provide a quality education that promotes peace, understanding, and respect and supports students in truly being themselves. Our K-12 distance-learning diploma program provides a safe, supportive learning environment that prepares students to be global citizens and supports them in learning how to take their passion for social justice out into the world.

We offer:

• Peace and diversity courses: Human Rights, History of Civil Rights in America, Global Spirituality and Activism, World Religions, Diversity Studies (includes ethnic and religious minorities; cultural issues; gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and women’s issues; etc.), Literature of Diversity, Buddhist Path to Peace, etc.

• Service learning program.
