Our mission is to end domestic and gender-based violence against Black girls and women by engaging and including Black males in their own/others healing. Over the past 30 years, we have developed culturally-specific services to 1) support survivors, 2) prevent domestic violence by addressing its root causes, and 3) facilitate community-led healing within Seattle’s Black community. We provide case management, emergency support services, and community education. Our organization serves 4,500 people annually and is led by a 100% Black leadership team.
