  • About Us

We believe that animals have rights and, as sentient individuals, are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. Animals, like humans, have a right to life, liberty, and freedom from physical and psychological pain and suffering.

We do not accept that a difference in species alone—any more than a difference in race or sex—can justify wanton exploitation or oppression in the name of science, food, sport, entertainment, or clothing for any financial gain. We do not accept the principle of “speciesism” (prejudice or discrimination based on species) any more than that of sexism or racism.
