Our Mission

Our Mission is to improve the lives of people with Down Syndrom and other intellectual disabilities in Retalhuleu and the South West part of Guatemala, children and adults, to set their own goals, make their own choices and acheive their full potential, promoting growth and inclusion in the community by offering educational and cultural programmes, workshops (garden, bakery) and capacity training in the area of health directed towards the target group and their families.

Nuestra Misión

Mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con Síndrome de Down y otras discapacidades intelectuales y de sus familias, posibilitando su inclusión escolar, social y laboral, velando para que obtengan el máximo grado de dignidad respeto, autodeterminación y bienestar como cualquier persona a través de programas educativos, culturales, talleres de capacitación (panadería y jardinería) de salud y de entretenimiento adaptados a sus necesidades y las de sus familias.
