KIPP Minnesota is an emerging network of high-performing, college-preparatory charter schools that serve historically under-resourced Twin Cities neighborhoods. At KIPP Minnesota, there are no shortcuts – outstanding educators, more time in school, a rigorous college-prep curriculum, and a strong culture of achievement and support help our students make significant gains and continue to excel in high school and college. Approximately 92% of our students are considered economically disadvantaged, and most students come from neighborhoods where less than five percent of residents graduate from college.
KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a national network of 200 free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools dedicated to sending its students to and through college. We believe that all students will learn and achieve at high levels if given the opportunity. Our mission is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and character strengths they need to seize those opportunities. Great education transforms lives.
We have a 20-year track record of preparing our students in educationally underserved communities for success in college and life. To learn more about KIPP, please visit www.kipp.org.
