  • Mission

WHERE IS THE SUNSHINE?, INC. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to create synergy between local and national programs, professional and grassroots organizations, mental health professionals and volunteers, and individuals with the goal of EARLY INTERVENTION and PEER SUPPORT for mental health. We aim to educate, motivate, show love, give hope, and inspire recovery in a way that reflects positive support, optimism and knowledge. Our belief is that early intervention and peer support are key to preventing advanced mental illness and mental health crisis.

    About Us

Where is the Sunshine? is a non-profit advocacy and social media resource designed to support, educate, and raise awareness for Mental Health Disorders. We have partnered with several local and national organizations for presentations, fundraising endeavors, and educational seminars all with the goal that inspiration and motivation can help those who are struggling with mental illness and their families. Founded in 2016, WhereIsTheSunshine? began as a side project to encourage those facing a mental health crisis to remain positive and to know there is help and support all around. Inspired by the songs that encourage us to get through the storm and wait for the sun, we know that those with mental illness feel they have no one to turn to as it's a challenge to explain what it feels like. We want you to never give up! Always know there is another way!
