The Brown Bag Project

  • Mission

The Brown Bag Project is a student-led food security initiative that provides accessible, dignity-centered food support to local families through community partnerships and volunteer-driven distributions.

    About Us

The Brown Bag Project is an initiative started in 2020, by high school students who saw a disparity in food security for the homeless community in Austin, Texas. The organization has helped thousands of people over the past 6 years, and is currently looking to expand past the Austin area, to across more places in Texas, the U.S., and to any other individual in countries looking to get involved.
