About Us
Access Books Bay Area is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to level the literacy playing field for K-8 students living in poverty by providing high quality, culturally relevant books, and renovated library spaces. The organization provides books to under resourced Bay Area schools where the majority of the students live at or below the poverty line. Access Books Bay Area believes that every child has the right to access high-quality school library spaces and collections that will help foster their love of reading.
