  • About Us

The Fund for Nonviolence cultivates and supports community-based efforts to bring about social change that moves humanity towards a more just and compassionate co-existence.

We are a private foundation. Priority areas that inform our funding: Women in Poverty, Children (with an emphasis on girls), and Challenging State Sponsored Violence.

Our current grant-making focuses in two areas: U.S. Prisons and Latin America, both with a human rights and social change/movement building emphasis.
