Northern Hills Area CASA Program
The Northern Hills Area CASA Program’s mission is to recruit and train community volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected, so that every child’s right to a safe, permanent home is fulfilled. The trained volunteers research, interview and present to the court the needs of the children they represent. They are the only independent source of information to the court on the needs of the child. The goal of the CASA volunteer is to advocate for a safe, permanent home for each child. CASA volunteers work closely with community agencies, schools, court officials, mental health providers, and families to bring about the resources that the child needs. Thousands of dollars are saved because of the early intervention for children.
