Toastmasters: Talk for Change

Talk For Change Toastmasters is a public speaking club in Washington, DC. We meet downtown on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Many of our club's members work in the non-profit sector. We welcome social entrepreneurs and non profit professionals alike.

Talk for Change provides public speaking and leadership practice and training. As a Toastmasters club, we follow the Toastmasters International curriculum, which has been developed for over 80 years. We aim to provide the nonprofit sector with as many adept communicators and leaders as possible.

Our mission is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
