About Us
The Mission of Occupy Peace House is to provide Inspiration, Education and Organization Support for the Occupy Movement and Activists for Peace in the D.C. area and around the globe.
Occupy Peace House fosters learning and activist excellence by the maintenance of a People’s Library and Research Center, through opportunities to work with experienced activists and visionaries at Teach-Ins, Non-Violence Trainings and planning and organizational sessions for Direct Actions designed to create a shift of power back to the People.
In homage to the 31 year vigil for peace and against nuclear proliferation outside the White House begun by WilliamThomas and continued by Concepcion Picciotto, Occupy Peace House shares their goal of creating a more loving, peaceful and sustainable future.
